Ernie Johnson Jr. or E.J., is one of the most respected and loved personalities in the sports universe, and in my opinion the best in basketball. Ernie is an award-winning sportscaster and sports journalist for Turner Sports and CBS Sports. He is best known for hosting TNT's “Inside the NBA” and NBA TV's popular series “Open Court” and for being the man with the, seemingly, innate ability to moderate highly-opinionated, NBA superstar personalities, such as, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal. Ernie has the unique ability to make himself extremely versatile, having covered every major sport throughout his career, plus the Olympics and FIFA World Cup. He is extremely knowledgeable and captivating in his takes. He currently works along side Even when he talks about teams or topics that are irrelevant to me, I watch him anyway because theres always interesting stuff in his broadcasts regardless of the topic. No sports anchor is more dedicated and steadier than E.J.
